Experiences from Dogs Barcelona community
I have adopted 2 (a very nervous Galgo found hanging in a tree and traumatised from beatings and mutilation who became super confident and had a very happy life with us and a tiny, starving, very sick, street Podenco pup urgent foster fail who is a very happy, healthy, big, strong boy 8 years on - now based in the UK as we had to move from Spain) from Anna Clements at SOS Galgos. They are a husband and wife team - he is a vet and she runs the shelter. Lovely people who do such fantastic work ❤. I would dearly love to adopt more from them if I had the space, good health and the money to pay more expensive vet bills in the UK. - Juliet
Please keep in Mind...
All the info on this page comes from online sources and lovely recommendations shared by members of our DOGS Barcelona community. We’ve done our best to gather accurate details, but things can change - like opening hours, websites, or adoption processes. So before you visit, adopt, or donate, it’s always a good idea to double-check directly with the rescue.
We’re just here to share and connect - so think of this as a helpful starting point rather than official info.
