At Beach With Dog

During Off-Season (October to March): YES!

During off-season most beaches in Barcelona allow dogs, as there are fewer visitors. Your dog can roam on beaches like Barceloneta, Nova Icaria, and Bogatell, but they must be leashed and not bother other beach goers.

Peak Season (April to September): Restrictions!

Dogs are not allowed on most Barcelona beaches during the high bathing season.
This restriction is especially important during the busy summer months when the sands are packed and the heat is intense. While your furry friends may have to sit this one out on the beach, there are still plenty of parks and pet-friendly spots around the city where they can stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors. Planning ahead is key, so keep these peak season rules in mind when organizing your beach outings in Barcelona!
